Experience
I earned a bachelor's degree in Medieval and Classical Studies from Bates College, and then pursued a post baccalaureate degree in Classical Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. I have since spent time studying German at the Berlin Goethe Institute, and also attended the Durham University in the UK, where I earned an MSc in Paleopathology. Additionally, I received certification as a TEFL instructor. With extensive experience teaching a wide range of subjects, my passion lies with teaching reading, history, and writing. I also have a passion for tutoring languages, specifically Latin. As a self-proclaimed, lifelong learner, I strive to enrich my life through continual learning. In doing so, I hope to reach my ultimate potential in and outside of the classroom. Besides tutoring, I enjoy doing things that are new to me and outside my comfort zone. I love ballroom dancing, yoga, and fencing. Most recently, I've begun practicing Aikido. I also enjoy visiting other countries in order to experience exciting, new cultures.
