I am a degreed professional with tutoring experience in several subjects - Have a passion for teaching, * I am enthusiastic with the ability to motivate students - I have experience with various learning disabilities - I am prompt, reliable, professional and courteous - I have recently undergone and passed the FLDOE Level II background check - I am willing to tutor children or adult students in a small group or “one-on-one", at a location of your choice. I have tutored professionally since 2006. I had been a Supplemental Education Services (SES) Tutor in Title One School Districts for the several years. And I continue to work with students in the local school districts, so I maintain a working knowledge of the school policies and requirements. I have a current DC II Clearance and I am able to work through the Tampa Bay area. I have tutored in language arts, math and reading, history and GED. I have worked with students under NCLB, FCAT (Florida's Comprehensive Assessment Test program) and I have experience with Common Core Standards. Some of my past students had learning disabilities, such as Dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, diagnosed as "Slow Learner," etc. I have a reputation for high personal integrity and positive results. All of my students have made significant improvements as I worked with them. In addition to tutoring, I have proctored grade school students in various subjects and adult learners in the GED as well as employment exams. I have tutored students in the home, community and at provider's test centers.
